How Coastal Cup Works
The Draft
- At any point in time, players can be recruited by current members of either coast
- new 3L1T3 Golf Club members who are recruited by a current member join the same coast as their recruiter
- New members who aren’t recruited, or any other prospect can be drafted at one of three rounds through-out the year
- Golf Star Weekend
- World Golf Week
- Golfsgiving
- Free Agency Begins Jan. 1st 2027
Write-in Matches
- a new tradition introduced in the 7th Edition
- For each session of matches at Coastal Cup, there will be one write-in match to begin each session
- Whichever captain holds the pen for that session chooses both the East and West Coast players for the first match
- Write-ins are due one hour before the pairings meeting for that session
